Junior Junction Preschool
We are a pre-kindergarten program designed to prepare each child to be successful in their future school experiences. We take ages 3-5 and children must be potty-trained. Our schedule follows the CCSD schedule (August-May). Summer classes are also available , MWF am only.

Junior Junction is state licensed. Our teachers meet all of the necessary education requirements, have background checks and are CPR trained. Children that attend are required to have a completed registration packet, current immunization record and a health statement signed by your physician saying that they are able to attend preschool.

Many skills are needed for a child to be prepared for kindergarten. We work on social skills, large and small motor skills, letter recognition, phonemic awareness, music and we make learning fun. Our curriculum is one that we have developed and continue to update as necessary. Each week we focus on a specific unit and a letter of the alphabet. The themes are provided on the monthly newsletter allowing the parents to reinforce learning at home. We have special events that also allow public speaking and musical participation.
Junior Junction was built in 1988, by Jolynne and Dennis Barnum. We just completed our 30th year. It is amazing to look back and realize that we have had 112 classes at our preschool. Adults are now bringing their children back to attend. It is fun to continue to be a part of their families. Junior Junction is a "family". It takes a "village" to raise a child and we love to be a part of that.
